UglyDuckling: I'm... I'm one of you. Just hatched a bit different, I guess.

Duck3: A bit different? That's an understatement! Look at you!

UglyDuckling: I know, I know. I don't look like the rest of you, but maybe if you get to know me...

Duck1: It's not just about looks. It's about fitting in. And, well, you really don't.

UglyDuckling: I can swim and quack just like you. Please give me a chance.

Duck2: We're not so sure. You'll just draw attention. The other ducks might start picking on us too.

Duck3: Yeah, we're better off without you, sorry.

MotherDuck: I'm so sorry, sweetheart. They just don't understand you.

Swan2: We know how that feels. Sometimes it's hard being different.

UglyDuckling: Really? You seem so... graceful and confident.

Swan1: It wasn't always like that. We all go through changes and tough times.

UglyDuckling: Changes? What do you mean?

Swan2: Well, we weren't always like this. We used to be awkward and clumsy too.

UglyDuckling: You were?

Swan1: Yes, we were. It took time for us to grow into who we are now. Maybe you’re going through something similar.

UglyDuckling: Maybe. It's just hard to believe things will get better.

Swan2: Trust us. They will. Come swim with us. You'll see.

UglyDuckling: Okay, thank you. I really appreciate it.

UglyDuckling: (Private Message to MotherDuck) Mom! I met some new friends today.

MotherDuck: That's wonderful news! Who are they?

UglyDuckling: Some swans. They said they went through changes too and that things get better.

MotherDuck: Swans, you say? Interesting... I always had a feeling you were destined for something special.

UglyDuckling: I hope you're right. They were really nice and didn't mind my feathers.

MotherDuck: Just keep being yourself, dear. You'll find where you belong.

A Few Months Later

Swan1: Wow, look at you! You've changed so much!

Swan2: You're looking more and more like one of us every day.

UglyDuckling: Really? I feel different, but I didn't realize it was that noticeable.

UglyDuckling: Thank you. It feels good to finally feel like I belong.
