The Haunting of Cinderella - Narrated by Cinderella

My life was once a tale of beauty, grace, and kindness. I was Cinderella, living in a grand mansion on the outskirts of the quaint town of Wurzburg. But one fateful night, a terrible curse befell me, twisting my once-beautiful existence into a nightmare.

Wronged in life, I roamed the streets of Wurzburg after dark as a zombie, seeking revenge on those who had betrayed me. My once-gorgeous gown now hung in tatters, stained with the blood of my victims. My delicate features were now a grotesque mask of rage, my ghoulish wails filling the air. No one could escape my vengeful wrath.

The townspeople lived in fear of me, whispering of my haunting presence. The mayor dismissed their claims as old wives’ tales, but as I stalked the streets after nightfall, terror gripped the town.

One evening, during a harvest festival, I emerged from the shadows, my eyes glowing with a malevolent light. The crowd gasped in horror as I let out a bone-chilling roar, and chaos erupted as they scattered in every direction.

The mayor knew he had to put an end to the curse, and he gathered the bravest men and women in town to confront me. Armed with makeshift weapons and their dwindling courage, they ventured into the darkness. As they faced me, I was filled with an insatiable hunger, but a young girl stepped forward, her eyes filled with determination and empathy.

She spoke to me with compassion, urging me to let go of my rage and find peace. As she did, the malevolent glow in my eyes began to fade, and I felt the curse lifting. With a final, mournful wail, I dissipated into the night, my spirit finally at rest.

The townspeople watched as the curse was broken, their terror replaced with awe. Wurzburg was free from my haunting presence, and the legend of Cinderella became a chilling memory. Though they never forgot the fear that had gripped their town, they also remembered the bravery of the young girl who showed compassion in the face of darkness.

And so, the town of Wurzburg lived in peace, and I, Cinderella, found solace in the embrace of eternal rest.
